Ex Libris, a Digital Humanities Project at the iSchool

The Ex Libris project includes Kyle Neill, Matthew Mickelson, and Morgan Pabst, three 2018 graduates of the iSchool at the University of Wisconsin.  These students have spent the last two years working on a digital humanities project that brings to life three manuscripts in Memorial Library’s Special Collections through a series of short video episodes.  They have honed research skills, learned new media, solved unforeseen challenges, practiced collaborative strategies, and even surpassed their own expectations. They talk about their personal challenges and successes in each of their projects, their thoughts on data management, and the place of digital humanities in their future careers.  For more on the Ex Libris project you can visit the Center for the History of Print and Digital Culture’s Ex Libris webpage.
